SKILLS EVALUATION The skills evaluation is March 6th at our indoor facility on Business RT 5 in the old part of Hughesville .The address is 8137 Leonardtown Road 9:00 AM- 12 yr old boys 10:00 AM -11 yr old boys11:00 AM - 10 yr old boys12:30 - 9 yr olds and 8 yr old trying out for the minors 13-15 yr old boys do not try out Teeball and Instructional players do not try out LATE Registration For Spring 2010If you missed our previous regristrations, please contact John Therres at jmtherres@comcast.net for information on how to register. The snack bar organizer will work one pre-assigned day each week and is only in charge that day. No ordering supplies, no phone calls – just show up to work and be in charge that day. Click here to access the Little League District 7 Website Hughesville Softball will now be playing under the guidance of ASA Softball. ASA is the governing body of softball for the United States, and home of the US Olympic team. ASA is the largest youth softball program in the country, and we are very proud to be selected to bring ASA softball to this area.
We will no longer be restricted to players within a certain area and are now open to all interested players in Southern Maryland and will be able to offer programs for all levels of play for players age 6 to 16. We welcome all Southern Maryland softball players the chance to play with us. The quality of play and level of organization you have expected from Hughesville Baseball and Softball Association will not change. It will only be made better under the oversight of ASA Softball.We will continue to offer quality regular season play and All-Star teams, and will now be able to add a 2nd recreational level All-Star team in each division to represent our league, giving more players the opportunity to experience All-Star play.To view a presentation on ASA Softball, click here.UMPIRES If you are interested in umpiring , we are having free training classes on every Tuesday in March at the Hughesville Firehouse from 7 - 9 PM .
