Fall Registration
Baseball
Fall Registration for players age 5 to 16 for all divisions from T-Ball to Seniors will be at the Hughesville Firehouse Wednesday, Aug 13 from 6-8 and Saturday, August 16 from 10-12. Age is based on next years playing age. Games will be played from mid September until the end of October. Registration is $50.
Softball
The Softball Fall season will consist of a combination instructional clinic and games beginning in mid September. Each player will have the opportunity to participate in 6 clinics held weekly, with games on Saturday. The clinic will feature all aspects of the game including pitching, hitting & fielding. Divisions for clinics and games will be Instructional (8U), Minors (11U) and Majors (12U) – age is based on the 2008 season age. 14U-16U will play a regular Fall season without the clinic. Registration will be held at the Hughesville Firehouse Wed, Aug 13 from 6-8 and Sat Aug 16 from 10-12. Registration is $50.
Hughesville Softball will also offer pitching clinics held all winter at several area indoor facilities. The pitching clinics are free to all players registered in the Spring or Fall.

Hughesville Softball will now be playing under the guidance of ASA Softball. ASA is the governing body of softball for the United States, and home of the US Olympic team. ASA is the largest youth softball program in the country, and we are very proud to be selected to bring ASA softball to this area.
We will no longer be restricted to players within a certain area and are now open to all interested players in Southern Maryland and will be able to offer programs for all levels of play for players age 6 to 16. We welcome all Southern Maryland softball players the chance to play with us.
The quality of play and level of organization you have expected from Hughesville Baseball and Softball Association will not change. It will only be made better under the oversight of ASA Softball.
We will continue to offer quality regular season play and All-Star teams, and will now be able to add a 2nd recreational level All-Star team in each division to represent our league, giving more players the opportunity to experience All-Star play.

Registration for both softball and baseball will be at the Hughesville Firehouse Sat Jan 19 and Wed Jan 23 and at the Mechanicsville Firehouse Sat Jan 26 and Wed Jan 30. Saturday times are 10 to 1, and Wednesdays from 6 to 8. Registration for softball only will also be held at the Capital Clubhouse on Sat Jan 12 and Sat Jan 19 from 9:30 to 11:30.

Softball: Hughesville Softball will now be affiliated with ASA Softball. We will no longer have residence boundaries for softball and we welcome all Southern MD players. Baseball: Baseball will still be played under Little League, and all regular HBA boundaries will remain in effect for Baseball, including T-Ball and Instructional Baseball.
